WE ARE ALSO LEADING IN THE SPORTS TOURNAMENT

Quantum students take an active part not only in scientific and educational, but also in sports events. On October 4, 2018, the Yerevan Municipality initiated the annual running competition "Yerevan Marathon", which has already become a tradition, and about 130 of the 500 participants were quantum students. The race started from S. Shahumyan Square and continued until 14:30, covering 42 km, 21 km, 11.5 km, 5 km and 1 km (children's race) running distances. Passing through the central streets of the capital Yerevan, the runners finished the race at the starting finish line. We would like to note with pleasure that quantum student Rafael Hambardzumyan (6-2nd grade) performed brilliantly, taking an honorable 2nd place. We warmly congratulate Rafael, wishing him and all the Quantum players new victories.

THE BIRTH OF THE LETTER “A” AT THE “KVANT” ACADEMY. THE FIRST STEP INTO THE WORLD OF KNOWLEDGE

There was festive activity in the yard of the "Quant" school. First-graders, the smallest but most enthusiastic participants of the new educational path, organized the presentation of the letter A. This was their first step towards the Armenian alphabet, towards the magical and wonderful world of the Armenian language and writing. Greatly attaching importance to the mystery of the Armenian alphabet and the noble work of its wonderful creator Mesrop Mashtots, the little Quantum students came up with a beautiful initiative. First, they unanimously posted a picture of a brilliant Armenian on the first page of the Alphabet, who will always encourage knowledge-loving children with his kind smile. Then they organized a unique flash mob. In the yard of the school, they formed the letter A, the symbol of the Armenian alphabet, uniting four first-graders. In this way, they not only celebrated their first achievement, but also symbolized the beginning of knowledge and the bright path. Teachers watched with pride as each little one took its place in the formation of the capital letter, becoming a living part of the Armenian alphabet. The presentation of the letter A at the "Quant" school became a touching memory, the beginning of the holiday of knowledge for first-graders. It is a memorable beginning, the first sign of the path of knowledge and creativity, with which the little quantum students opened the doors of the Armenian alphabet. H. L.H.G. IN THE MULTI-LAYERED WORLD OF ART AND IMAGINATION, THIS IS HOW THE SONG WAS BORN

The unique event organized at the "Quantum" school gave 4th grade students the opportunity not only to meet famous artists, but also to witness the real birth of creativity. The event was preceded by a carefully organized preparatory phase: a few weeks ago, the children were given a task: what questions they would ask a famous writer or composer. The children enthusiastically presented the questionnaire. It was these sincere and direct questions that became the key material of the program. The Quantum kids already knew that they would have guests, but who they were… that remained a part of the stage mystery. And here in the school hall are those who, with their contributions, have long become a part of the identity of “Quantum”: a writer, publicist, author of other textbooks, methodical manuals and works of art of the Alphabet, as well as the author of the words of the “Quantum” school anthem Vachagan Sargsyan, composer, author of the music of the school anthem Nerses Margaryan. Before revealing their identities, V. Sargsyan presented a creative game for the kids: pictures made with their names, which the children had to guess. At the moment of successful completion of the task, the “revealed” guests entered the hall as the best friends of the school. The entrance of the guests was followed by an exciting moment: the kids sang the school anthem together, and then tried to guess their connection with the school. The responses were varied, but the correct answer was received with great enthusiasm: they are the authors of the words and music of the school anthem. Then the guests took turns answering the questions the students had asked weeks earlier. The performance of N. Margaryan's "Miracle Melody" choir enriched the artistic mood of the event. The most enchanting part was still ahead. The title of the event, "This is how the song was born," was to literally become a reality on stage. The children from the hall uttered 10 arbitrary words, unrelated, random, free words. And right there, in front of everyone, V. Sargsyan created a new, fresh poetic text in a limited time - the words of a new song. Then, just as quickly and inspired, N. Margaryan wrote the music for the song. The students of the "Miracle Melody" choir immediately brought the newly created work to life, performing it on stage. The hall was filled with enthusiasm and admiration: the little ones witnessed a real miracle, saw how a song is born from words and sounds. Such events greatly contribute to the development of children's creative thinking, imagination and self-expression, making them directly involved in the most interesting episodes of the creative process. "Quantum" school not only teaches art, literature and music, but also inspires the birth of new works. This initiative is not only a beautiful artistic experience, but also a valuable educational process that stimulates children's creative thinking and the development of artistic imagination. "Quantum" school continues to form an environment where art becomes alive, and children are its co-creators.
